INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS:

FxStudio requires a PC running Windows XP or Vista with the following recommended system:

• 2.0 Ghz+ processor
• 1GB system ram (Vista 2GB)
•  DirectX 9+ compatible Video card with 256MB
•  DirectX compatible Audio card

Please follow these instructions when downloading and installing the PC package below:

1. Download the FxStudio Designer and Reference Application installer.
2. Follow the onscreen instructions to install and launch the Designer.
3. A  license screen will appear with a request code for an activation key code. Please email the request code to support@aristenfx.com (or reply to the welcome email you received.) We will send you an activation key good for a 30 day evaluation.
4. Enter the key code into the dialogue box. FxStudio Designer will now be running.
5. To launch the Reference Application, in the FxStudio Designer, navigate to the reference application's project via File > Open > Project
   a. By default, this resides in [install folder]Aristen\FxStudio\Reference\Win32\Media\Fx\reference.fxproj
6. Open any effect listed on the left panel in FxStudio Designer.
7. Click the Play button!
